Casey Carruthers

Casey Carruthers (DiPersio) began dancing at a young age training at The Academy of Dance and Gymnastics and later continued at Denise Wall's Dance Energy in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She studied and graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2013, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in economics and minoring in dance.

She began performing professionally at the age of 18 for SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. There, she was cast in multiple production shows over 5 seasons and was honored to be chosen as dance captain. Upon graduating University, she joined Giordano Dance Chicago as a dancer in their second company. There, she received training and direction from Nan Giordano, Homer Bryant, Autumn Eckman, Roni Koresh and many more. Casey has performed with The Smoky Mountain Opry in both their Ultimate Variety Show and their Christmas Show. She has also performed with Holland America Cruise Lines and RWS Entertainment Group. Two contracts have so far given her the opportunity to travel and dance around the world! She is currently performing with contemporary company, Drapinski Dance Company in Orlando, FL.

Not only does she have a love of dance but that for the aerial arts and yoga. She is a certified 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher through YogaWorks and Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher through Yoga Education Institute and Yoga Alliance.

She is currently on staff with Viera Dance Conservatory in Viera, FL as the main jazz instructor and loving every second! She is also a yoga teacher at YogaSix in Clermont, FL. Casey currently choreographs and judges competitions (on staff with Impact Dance Adjudicators) nationally around the country!
